Flexible controls
The scope of our control technology and the level of measurement-based monitoring for our CHP controller are unique for our performance classes. Functions such as flow temperature adjustment or controlled buffer tank loading are already included as standard. With additional options for controlling peak-load boilers, three-way mixers and a buffer discharge pump, the Mephisto controller becomes the centrepiece of your heat generation system. Compatibility with all standard bus systems also means the unit can be integrated into building management systems.
Measurement technology
We are setting new standards with our comprehensive measurement technology. We measure temperatures, pressure, voltages, currents and frequencies in our CHP units and log these readings. To ensure safe operation of our combined heat and power units, we use our self-developed, certified grid and plant protection. Moreover, we offer optimised engine management and monitoring, including early anomaly detection. Our self-developed lambda control ensures optimal exhaust emission levels.
Hydraulics
Our Mephisto combined heat and power unit offers numerous control functions to implement numerous hydraulic concepts. These include supply line temperature control and the incorporation of multiple external temperature sensors. External systems such as peak load boilers or other heat generators can also be easily controlled alongside three-way valves and a buffer storage discharge pump. An electricity-optimised operating mode is also achievable. In many cases, a control system is not required at a higher level than the CHP unit.
Compatibility
The Mephisto controller is compatible with all standard bus systems such as Modbus, Profibus or BACNet, meaning Mephisto CHP units can be incorporated into all higher-level controllers. The optional M-Bus interface recording of data transmitted from your gas, heat or electricity meters.
Webcontrol
With our online tool Webcontrol, you have full control of your Mephisto CHP unit at all times, whether you use a smartphone, laptop or tablet to access it. Webcontrol grants you access to all functions and live data which you can view on the CHP unit touchpad. This includes setting, viewing and analysing operating parameters or merely switching the CHP unit on or off.
